About ICARUS

GOALS

  • Providing a desirable place where artists from the United States and other countries can display and successfully sell their artwork using an artists’ cooperative (co-op) approach.
  • Creating opportunities for people of various ages to further develop their artistic and creative gifts by partnering with faith-based organizations, educational institutions, the art communities, and local government.
  • Fostering new approaches for empowering socioeconomically disadvantaged persons including artists in the United States and other countries.
  • Helping to empower socioeconomically disadvantaged persons through the arts.

VISION

The organization’s vision is a world where multicultural societes, diverse religious denominations, and civil society organizations that serve artists, arts communities, and the poor are united in their efforts to eliminate pronounced disparites in socioeconomic status and to provide opportunities for personal growth and the development of artistic abilities.

MISSION

The mission of ICARUS, Inc is to provide life-changing and life-saving services to help empower socioeconomically disadvantaged persons of all  ages. gender identification, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religious background, politcal affiliatom health status, disability status, or other personal characteristic, including artists in the United States and other countries around the world.
